The Pennsylvania Association of Blind Merchants (PABM) is a proud division of the National Federation of the Blind of Pennsylvania (NFB of PA). We represent blind entrepreneurs, business owners, and managers who are living the lives they want through opportunities in business and commerce.
Our division provides a network of support, training, and advocacy for blind merchants across Pennsylvania. We believe that lack of opportunity and misunderstanding—not blindness—are the greatest challenges. Together, we build knowledge, create opportunity, and demonstrate the capabilities of blind entrepreneurs.
The National Federation of the Blind works to improve the lives of our members and all blind people across the United States. We know that blindness is not the characteristic that defines us or determines our future. Every day, we raise expectations because we understand that low expectations—not blindness itself—are the greatest obstacles standing between blind people and their dreams. Through our collective power, determination, and diversity, we break down barriers and achieve the aspirations of all blind people.

The PABM/BEP Networking Holiday Party is a festive end-of-year celebration for members, supporters, and community partners. Held each December, this much-anticipated event brings together blind entrepreneurs and Business Enterprise Program (BEP) vendors from across Pennsylvania for an evening of fellowship, reflection, and fun. Guests enjoy delicious food, lively entertainment, and holiday cheer, along with raffles and a spirited live auction that raises vital funds to support PABM’s programs and advocacy.
More than just a holiday gathering, the Networking Holiday Party provides an opportunity to strengthen connections, celebrate the accomplishments of blind merchants statewide, and support initiatives that empower blind business owners to thrive. It is both a joyful occasion and an important fundraiser that fuels PABM’s mission of independence, opportunity, and growth for blind entrepreneurs.

Join Our Monthly Meetings
The PABM meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 6:00 PM via Zoom.
Our meetings are open to everyone—whether you are a blind or low vision entrepreneur, a Randolph-Sheppard vendor, a business professional, or an ally. Join us to share ideas, strengthen your business skills, and contribute to our mission of raising expectations and expanding opportunities for blind merchants.
